Pool render, waterproofing, waterline mosaic and tile resurface, all under one trade. Few Melbourne tilers can do the full pool job in-house. We can.
A pool refurbishment is four trades in one: render, waterproofing, waterline tile or mosaic, and tile resurface. Most tilers can do one or two of those. Most pool specialists sub out the rest.
The Zia Tiling team does all four in-house. That means one contractor takes your pool from a tired, dated finish to a fully refurbished pool, and one trade is accountable for the result.

Pool tiling and resurfacing: a full re-tile or resurface for a pool that has aged out of its finish.
Waterline tiling and mosaic: the band that shows the most wear and the most detail, replaced and finished clean.
Pool waterproofing: the membrane that keeps the structure sound, done to standard.
Pool rendering: the substrate prepared and rendered ready for tile or finish.
Pools built in the 1990s and 2000s are reaching the end of their finish cycle, usually around 20 years. The waterline lifts, the render cracks, the tiles let go. A refurbishment brings the pool back without the cost of replacing it.

Pool refurbishment is the most photogenic work we do. Before and after, waterline mosaic detail, the overhead shot of a finished pool. We document our pool jobs as full case studies.

The whole pool. Render, waterproofing, waterline mosaic and tile resurface are all done in-house by one trade.

Pool work runs best in the warmer months, roughly August to February. Book early, because that window fills.
